NEMO is a very special type of museum. Unlike other museums you've probably visited, at NEMO you are allowed – even encouraged – to touch all of the exhibits, to explore, and to learn. You can find out all about the human body at NEMO, as well as about nature, technology, different types of materials, and many other interesting things. The NEMO building is painted a bright, eye-catching green, and is located in a charming spot on the water’s edge. At the end of your visit, you might want to go up to the museum’s top floor where you can enjoy a view of most of Amsterdam and, of course, eat!
