Let’s start by saying that this place is nothing like a museum….
This museum has secret passages that you can find, explore, pass through, and, most importantly, get out off, only with the help of a guide…The museum is actually located in an old castle and in it you can still see the treasures left behind by the rich Italians that once lived in it. (Just like in the movies where you see cellars filled with boxes containing jewelry and gold…) This is a special museum for children that understands how children think, and fills their hearts with joy and fun. The museum has lots and lots of games, exhibits, and special activities.
You can see incredible exhibits on the wonders of the human body and on changes in dress and clothing during the Middle Ages. You can actually conduct real science experiments, and your younger siblings can enjoy a room packed with toys. There are also guided tours of the castle’s secret passages! To top it off, you can see frescos, statues, and paintings that clearly demonstrate the Medici family’s incredible wealth.
