Croatia has heaps of attractions for the whole family to enjoy. The children will love Zlatni Rat beach where they can take a beginners’ course in windsurfing. Alternatively, visit Queens beach, which is perfect for small children thanks to its gently sloping shoreline and plentiful nearby eateries. Take a walking tour of Dubrovnik Famed for its historical treasures and rich culture, a visit to Croatia wouldn’t be complete without exploring Dubrovnik’s old town. Taking approximately three hours, there’s second and third grade rapids with quiet parts thrown in – it’s just the right mix of relaxation and white knuckle fun. Zip Line in Omis After a few hours on the rapids, you can enjoy another thrill seeking pursuit near the town of Omis. In the canyon of the Cetina River, you can zip-line down steel wire ropes from heights of up to 150 meters. Cycle in South Dalmatia Daily cycle tours are a great way to explore the region and see some of the historic sights along the way. The area of South Dalmatia is perfect for those interested in touring on two wheels, with plenty of tour operators providing rental and guided tours.
